I’m Rolf Stenberg. I run Global Web Technologies from Dublin, and I personally carry out every Growth Investigation — the independent research into your business, your market and your competitors, and the conclusions that come from it.
Global Web Technologies is an independent business and competitor research service. The work is the Growth Investigation: a fixed-price €349 report that examines your market, your competitors and your online presence, and sets out the opportunities worth pursuing next. One analyst carries it out, and you deal directly with that person — not a sales team or an account manager.
I’ve been building and marketing web products since 2010, which means I’ve spent my own money on advertising and content and learned which of it was worth doing. That’s the perspective behind the investigation.
How I work
I use research tools and available data to gather evidence, but the assessment, interpretation and recommendations are my own. I read the data myself, check findings against the live pages rather than trusting an automated crawl, and tell you plainly when the evidence is thin instead of presenting an assumption as a conclusion. Every report separates what I verified from what I inferred, and marks how confident each finding is.
You receive three prioritised actions, not a list of everything imaginable. Deciding what matters most is the part that takes judgement, and it’s the part most reports skip.
Why independence matters
If you want someone to run your advertising or build your website, there’s no shortage of agencies. What’s harder to buy is an honest, independent assessment — from someone with no stake in the answer and nothing to sell you afterwards. That’s what the Growth Investigation is: I don’t provide advertising management, website development or ongoing retainers, so the findings aren’t shaped by what I might sell you next.
And if I investigate your business and the honest conclusion is that there’s nothing worth acting on, I’ll tell you, send you the evidence anyway, and refund you in full.
